    Description

    Offered is a pair of sterling silver 4 1/2" sugar tongs in the Fairfax pattern patent 1910 hallmarked by Durgin.  Durgin was purchased by Gorham in 1905.  They continued to operate under their own name until 1931 when they moved to Rhode Island. The tongs have a lovely Old English letter K monogram.  Condition is excellent.
