Native American Cloud Chaser War Bonnet
The unique
CLOUD CHASER
War Bonnet is made using quality, black main feathers tipped with white feather fluffs & genuine horse hair. The feathers bottoms are wrapped in black & grey wraps & then hand sewn onto a felt skull cap which is covered in matching fluffs. A single decorated honor feather is positioned in the middle of the skull cap(crown) in the back of the bonnet. A thick row of white & grey feather fluffs are aligned on top of the wraps. Strips of genuine rabbit fur with matching wraps are used for drops on either side. The beaded brow band & matching rosettes are sewn by hand. This is really a majestic bonnet ! Display it with your collection or wear with your regalia. One size fits all.
This headdress is made by Buffy Sam of the Great Navajo Nation in New Mexico.
